“Salman Khan is in Perfectly Good Health,” Model Priya Soni Reassures Fans

Mumbai: Putting an end to growing speculation over Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s health, Mumbai-based model and actress Priya Soni has appealed to fans not to worry, saying the actor is “perfectly fit and fine” despite recent photographs that sparked concern about his age and health on social media.

On Tuesday, Priya Soni took to social media to reassure admirers of the superstar after several images and videos from a recent government function in Mumbai led to widespread speculation online.

In those visuals, Salman Khan appeared tired and was sporting a rugged, somewhat disheveled appearance, prompting many fans to question whether the actor was unwell.

According to Priya Soni, there is no cause for concern and Salman is hale and hearty.

“This is just a particular look for one of Bhaijaan’s projects, which he was sporting when he made a public appearance at a government function in Mumbai,” she explained. “While everyone gets older, Salman Khan is in the pink of health,” she wrote.

Her comments quickly resonated with many fans, who welcomed the reassurance after days of speculation surrounding the actor’s appearance. Several supporters also pointed out that actors often undergo significant physical transformations depending on the demands of their roles, making it unfair to judge their health solely from a few public photographs.

The concern began last week when Salman Khan attended a public event in Mumbai. Images and videos from the function circulated widely across social media platforms, with many users commenting that the actor appeared exhausted and older than usual. The discussion gathered momentum, with some fans expressing anxiety about his well-being and asking whether he was facing any health-related issues. Later on, Salman Khan himself posted some images of himself in his new look with a cryptic message, which many fans did not understand.

However, those close to the actor’s professional commitments have maintained that his current appearance is closely linked to the demanding nature of his ongoing film project.

Salman Khan is looking forward to the release of Mathrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace, a period war drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film has involved extensive shooting in the challenging landscapes of Leh and Ladakh, where high altitudes and harsh weather conditions have added to the physical demands of production.

The actor has previously acknowledged that the project has required tremendous physical effort. In an earlier interview, Salman admitted that action-oriented roles now demand much more preparation than they did during his younger years.

He explained that activities such as running, intense workouts, action choreography, kicking and punching sequences, and prolonged shooting schedules require significantly more recovery time. Salman Khan is 60 years old.

“The work is physically demanding every day and every hour. Earlier, I could complete this kind of preparation in a week or two, but now it takes much longer,” Salman Khan had said while discussing the film.

He also noted that the action requirements of Mathrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace differ considerably from those of his previous release Sikandar, requiring a completely different style of training, endurance and physical conditioning.

Priya Soni’s message comes as a reminder that public appearances often represent only a small snapshot of an actor’s professional life. Film stars frequently alter their looks to suit characters, and long shooting schedules can temporarily affect their appearance without reflecting their actual health.

Priya Soni herself is a familiar face in the entertainment industry. Based in Mumbai, she has built a career as a model and actress through several South Indian films, music videos and print campaigns. Having spent several years in the modelling and acting profession, she enjoys a dedicated following on social media, where she regularly shares updates related to films, fashion and celebrities.

A self-confessed admirer of Salman Khan, Priya frequently posts about the actor on her social media platforms and has consistently expressed her admiration for his work.

Meanwhile, Priya Soni is also preparing for one of her upcoming film projects. She will be seen in director Maneesh F. Singh’s murder suspense thriller, tentatively titled Who Killed Ketan Agarwal? The film is loosely inspired by the widely reported Ketan Agarwal murder case.

According to reports surrounding the case, businessman Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered by his fiancée Siya Goel and her alleged boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. Investigators alleged that the two pushed him from a high cliff at Lohagad Fort near Pune. Media reports further claimed that Siya was secretly married to Chetan while her family wanted her to marry Ketan. Reports also alleged that she had accepted ₹1 crore from Ketan for wedding-related expenses and that the accused had earlier considered alternative methods before allegedly carrying out the fatal plan at the fort. The criminal allegations remain subject to judicial proceedings and both Siya and Chetan are presently in judicial custody.

For now, however, Priya Soni hopes fans will focus on Salman Khan’s ongoing work rather than rumours. Her message is simple: despite recent speculation triggered by a few photographs and video clips, the Bollywood superstar remains in good health and is fully occupied with one of the most physically demanding films of his career.
