MUMBAI: Fashion and entertainment platform VFTv.Live has announced the launch of its nationwide talent discovery initiative, “Ms Fashion Universe Glam Search Pageant,” aimed at identifying aspiring young women between the ages of 18 and 25 with potential in the fashion and glamour industry.
As part of the programme, the platform has been conducting audition rounds across various cities, including Mumbai, over the past several weeks. The talent hunt seeks to discover promising contestants interested in careers in modelling, fashion, and related entertainment fields.
Speaking about the initiative, a spokesperson for VFTv.Live said the platform is preparing for its official launch and is focused on creating opportunities for emerging talent.
“We are searching for exceptional fashion talent from across the country. VFTv.Live is a new platform that is currently in its launch phase, and a formal announcement will be made soon,” the spokesperson said.
According to information shared by the organisers on social media, the response to the talent hunt has been encouraging, with nearly 200 aspiring participants already identified from different parts of India. The organisers plan to accept 2,000 registrations for the competition, after which 1,000 contestants will be shortlisted for the first stage of selection.
The spokesperson added that the initial screening process has already been completed in Mumbai, while auditions and selection activities continue in other locations.
The official debut of VFTv.Live is expected to coincide with a high-profile fashion event in Mumbai this August. The launch programme will feature a grand gala evening highlighted by a large-scale runway showcase, bringing together contestants, fashion professionals, and industry guests as the platform begins its journey in the Indian fashion and entertainment space.
