LUCKNOW: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Rajya Sabha MP and national general secretary Vinod Tawade as its in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, assigning him a key organisational responsibility as the party begins its preparations for the crucial 2027 Assembly elections. Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel has been appointed co-in-charge of the politically significant state.
