Lucknow: Rajni Singh, a Lucknow-based model, influencer, actor and aspiring singer, has been nominated as a finalist for Ms UP Universe, the flagship pageant of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Fashion Week (UPFW). The prestigious pageant will be held in September in Lucknow as part of the three-day fashion and glamour extravaganza.
Uttar Pradesh is preparing to take centre stage in the world of fashion with the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Fashion Week, scheduled to be held in the state capital during September-October. The event aims to create a major platform for the state’s rich traditional craftsmanship while bringing artisans, craftsmen, designers, makeup artists and models together under one roof.
The entire event is sponsored by Shree Parvat Solar Energy, Lucknow’s leading solar energy consultancy and installation provider, and is scheduled to take place towards the end of September 2026 in Lucknow. Apart from fashion shows and pageants, the UPFW platform will also feature national-level contests for makeup and hair experts as well as tattoo artists.
At the centre of the fashion week will be Ms UP Universe, which is expected to provide an important platform for women from Uttar Pradesh and beyond to showcase their confidence, personality, talent and fashion sensibilities.
