Runway Fashion Film “Miss Everybody” Set to Blend Comedy, Couture and AI

MUMBAI: India’s fashion and film industries are set to witness a unique cinematic venture with “Miss Everybody,” a feature film centered entirely on runway fashion while promoting the concept of circular fashion and sustainable style.

According to industry sources, Fresh Water Films Productions is preparing to begin production on the ambitious comedy, with Mumbai-based actor Nataliya Natasha Yadav cast in the lead role.

Filmmaker Maneesh F. Singh, who is directing the project, confirmed that Nataliya has officially joined the production. He revealed that the actor has already started her preparation, which includes script workshops, performance training, and other activities designed to prepare her for the demanding role.

Speaking about the film’s visual approach, Singh said that artificial intelligence and visual effects will play an important role in the storytelling. Approximately 30 percent of the film’s content is expected to be created using AI-assisted technology and advanced VFX, including the introduction of animated characters.

“We’re incorporating AI and VFX in a significant way to enhance the narrative,” Singh said. “At this stage, I can’t reveal too many creative details, but audiences can expect nearly 30 percent of the film to feature AI-generated visual content.”

The director also shared insights into the scale of the production, describing it as one of the most ambitious fashion-themed films planned in India. The project is currently being developed with an estimated budget of around ₹300 crore, although Singh acknowledged that the final production cost could exceed that figure depending on the creative and technical requirements.

“Our goal is to complete the film within a budget of approximately ₹300 crore,” he explained. “However, given the extensive use of technology and the overall production scale, the final investment could be higher.”

By combining comedy, high-fashion runway sequences, sustainability, and emerging AI technology, “Miss Everybody” aims to introduce a fresh cinematic format to Indian audiences. If completed as planned, the film could become one of Bollywood’s most expensive fashion-centric productions while bringing the message of circular fashion to the mainstream through an entertaining narrative.
